Disaster Preparedness
Partnering with the emergency service providers
Chaplains will be trained to the standards of the California Chaplaincy Corps and become connected to the work of first responders during disasters.
PTSD CARE
Neutral listening in an emergency
Chaplains are trained to care for individuals in trauma and to ensure that they do not develop secondary trauma as they support others.
Death Notifications
Partnering with the Medical Examiners Office
Chaplains will be trained to work with the San Francisco Medical Examiners Offices to support the family and friends of the deceased.
